Overnight Front Desk Agent (Night Audit)About Us
Whistler Reception & Property Care (WRPC) is a collaborative, fast-paced, and community-minded company managing multiple front desks for privately owned and rental properties across Whistler. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting a positive, flexible, and supportive work environment for our team.
We’re currently looking for a reliable and self-motivated Overnight Front Desk Agent (Night Audit) to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable working overnight, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly while the rest of the resort is asleep. You’ll be the primary point of contact for guests during the overnight hours while also completing routine administrative, security, and operational tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the overnight point of contact, you’ll play an important role in guest service, property security, and maintaining smooth operations:
- Welcoming and assisting late-night and overnight guest arrivals
- Completing after-hours check-ins and providing guests with information and assistance
- Answering phone calls and responding to guest inquiries, including directions, general questions, and after-hours support
- Monitoring and responding to overnight guest requests and concerns
- Completing night audit and basic end-of-day administrative tasks
- Reviewing and updating reservations and guest information as required
- Conducting regular property checks to help ensure the safety and security of guests and the property
- Reporting maintenance, safety, or security concerns to the appropriate team members
- Following established overnight procedures and emergency protocols
- Assisting with basic housekeeping preparation during quieter periods, such as organizing linen bags and preparing supplies
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Completing other basic operational and administrative duties as required
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, responsible, and comfortable working independently:
- A positive, dependable attitude and strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently and remain productive during overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in unexpected situations
- Friendly and professional approach to guest service
- Customer service or hospitality experience is preferred
- Previous night audit or overnight hotel experience is an asset
- Administrative or computer experience is an asset
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Ability to follow procedures and exercise good judgment when working independently
- Valid Canadian work authorization, if applicable
