Front Desk Agent – Cox Bay Beach Resort
Start Date: August 20th, 2026 | Minimum 6-Month Contract

Cox Bay Beach Resort is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated, and friendly individual to join our Guest Services team on the Wild West Coast. This is a full-time position (30–40 hours/week) with subsidized staff accommodation available.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Commitment to a 6-month contract (minimum)
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings (1:30pm–9:30pm), weekends, and holidays
  • Preference given to applicants with hospitality/front desk experience or local knowledge of the Tofino area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Book reservations, answer phones, and provide information about the resort and local attractions
  • Process check-ins/check-outs, handle payments, and balance cash
  • Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness at the Front Desk
  • Complete clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and word processing
  • Open and close the Front Office as scheduled
  • Support other departments when needed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Previous front desk, office, or hospitality experience an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and stress-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (clear, neat, professional)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills: friendly, personable, professional, and approachable
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; ability to learn reservation/phone systems
  • Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure, and deliver a high standard of service
  • Reliable, punctual, and present for all scheduled shifts
