TBL Construction Ltd. is a road builder located in Red Deer, Alberta. Established in 1998, the company currently employs up to 60 employees and sub-contractors during the Alberta road building season.

At TBL we strive to be an industry leader is base construction, being extremely detail oriented.

TBL manages and implements various types of projects each year: environmental, improvement, repair and new. We work throughout the province but try to concentrate our efforts in Central, Southern Alberta.

With our fleet of over 60 pieces of equipment we can confidently tackle most jobs in the market. Our home being based out of Red Deer, Alberta helps make us competitive in all regions of the province.

TBL has a strong commitment and focus on safety. We have implemented a thorough safety program and utilize it to ensure a safe environment for our staff, other contractors and the general public.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong working relationships with site workers/supervisors, subcontractors and clients.
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties adherent to the job
  • Maintain organized system for tracking current jobs such as quantities and correspondence
  • Input time ticket
  • Assist with other roles on the as needed basis.
  • Order parts and job supplies. Pick up parts

Is this role for you?

  • If you have an Interest in the Health and Safety field, TBL would be willing to put you though the Health and Safety Course we Require and train in the field.
  • You have strong collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships across diverse groups, with the ability to work both independently and within a team framework;
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal skills, listening skills, organization abilities, proven attention to detail, and ability to develop good working relationships with inside and outside organizations
  • You possess a current and valid Class 5 driver’s licence;
  • Intermediate experience with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is an asset;
  • Fluent in English
  • You are able to travel to various job sites and work away from home as this position is 100% field based during peak season.
