Experienced Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine Chef

Taverna Gorgona – Ladner, BC
Full-Time | $25–$30 per hour, based on experience

Taverna Gorgona is seeking an experienced Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine Chef to join our kitchen team.

We are an established Greek restaurant that has proudly served the Ladner community for more than 30 years. We are looking for a talented, reliable and passionate chef who has a strong understanding of authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and takes pride in producing high-quality food.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have professional kitchen experience with Greek, Mediterranean, or similar cuisine and a strong understanding of traditional flavours, ingredients and cooking techniques.

Experience with:

  • Traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes
  • Meze and appetizers
  • Souvlaki and grilled meats
  • Lamb, chicken and seafood
  • Traditional sauces, marinades and seasonings
  • Fresh Mediterranean ingredients
  • High-volume restaurant service
  • Food preparation, portioning and presentation
  • Maintaining consistent quality and standards
  • Food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organization

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, professional and works well as part of a team.
