Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items on the grill, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures.
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications to maintain consistency in food quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to kitchen management.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling food products.
  • Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a grill or cooking role, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality meal preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals is essential.
