Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, assisting in meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene and sanitation
• Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service
• Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding food handling, storage, and safety protocols

Skills

• Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
• Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
• Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent skills in food industry practices including kitchen organization and cleanliness
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Knowledge of restaurant experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently under pressure
