Overview

We are seeking a talented and innovative Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will bring creative visions to life by designing functional, stylish, and personalized kitchen spaces that meet clients’ needs and preferences. Your expertise in digital design tools, visual arts, and construction principles will help transform ideas into stunning reality. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate designer eager to make a meaningful impact on home environments through thoughtful, detailed planning and innovative visual presentation.

Duties

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and functional requirements for their kitchens.
  • Develop detailed digital layouts and 3D models using software such as SketchUp, CAD, or Maya to visualize design concepts clearly.
  • Create compelling visual presentations utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Incorporate elements of typography, color theory, and visual arts painting to craft aesthetically pleasing and cohesive kitchen designs.
  • Prepare technical drawings and construction plans that include specifications for cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and appliances.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure designs are feasible within budget and construction constraints.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in fashion design, graphic design, motion graphics, and 3D animation to bring fresh ideas into kitchen aesthetics.
  • Assist in selecting materials, finishes, and fixtures that align with both style goals and functional requirements.
  • Use HTML and CSS knowledge when needed to develop interactive digital presentations or virtual walkthroughs for clients.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to safety standards and building codes while maintaining high-quality visual appeal.

Experience

  • Proven experience in digital design, graphic design, or visual arts with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative projects.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Maya, SketchUp, CAD software, and other relevant tools for 2D/3D animation and visual design.
  • Familiarity with typography principles and construction painting techniques enhances the ability to create detailed interior visuals.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus for developing interactive presentations or virtual models.
  • Experience working on residential or commercial interior projects with an emphasis on kitchen design is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes including cabinetry installation, material selection, and project coordination.
  • Ability to translate client visions into detailed technical drawings while maintaining artistic integrity.
