Job Description: Screen Printing Operator
Company: Promo Solution

Position Type: Full-time

Position Summary
Promo Solution is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Screen Printing Operator to join our production team. The Screen Printing Operator will be responsible for preparing materials, setting up and operating screen printing equipment, and producing high-quality printed apparel and promotional products according to customer orders and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up screens, inks, garments, and materials for each print job.
  • Operate screen printing equipment to print logos, designs, and artwork on apparel and promotional products.
  • Review job orders, artwork instructions, and production requirements before printing.
  • Monitor print quality throughout production and make adjustments as needed.
  • Check finished products for accuracy, placement, colour, and overall quality.
  • Clean screens, tools, equipment, and work areas after each job.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Follow health and safety procedures when working with inks, chemicals, heat equipment, and production tools.
  • Work with the production team to complete orders accurately and on time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in screen printing or a similar production/printing role.
  • Experience setting up and operating screen printing equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Regular use of screen printing equipment, inks, screens, dryers, heat press, and related tools.
  • The role may involve standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal protective equipment may be required depending on the task.
