Job Title: Graphic Designer – Print & Production

Location: Niagara Falls, Ontario

Position Summary

Foamcore Architectural Elements is seeking a creative and detail-driven Graphic Designer with hands-on experience in print design and commercial print production. This role is ideal for a designer who can bridge creativity with technical precision, producing visually compelling and production-ready graphics for architectural products and large-format applications. The Graphic Designer will also operate and maintain large commercial printers to ensure top-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and prepare production-ready graphics for print, signage, packaging, and architectural elements.

· Program and set up files for large-format printing using RIP software.

· Operate large-format commercial printers, plotters, and cutters.

· Maintain color accuracy, file resolution, and print quality.

· Collaborate with the design, production, and sales teams to meet client specifications and timelines.

· Troubleshoot file or printer issues and maintain print equipment as required.

· Manage print material inventory and assist in supply ordering.

· Maintain organized digital file systems and archives.

· Ensure brand consistency and quality across all printed materials.

Qualifications & Skills

· Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Print Technology, or related field.

· 2+ years of experience in graphic design and print production, preferably in a commercial or manufacturing environment.

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

· Experience with RIP software (e.g., Asanti, Onyx, Fiery, Caldera) and large-format UV printers (e.g., AGFA, HP, Mimaki, Roland).

· Strong knowledge of print file setup, color management, and production workflows.

· Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and technical skills.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.

· Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Working Conditions

· On-site, hands-on role in a print and production environment.

· Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional extended hours based on workload.

· Physical activity required, including standing, lifting (up to 25 kg), and operating machinery.

· Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in production areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
