Full job description

Experienced Greenskeeper

Duties:

Participate in daily maintenance tasks including:

  • Sand trap maintenance and repair
  • Mowing of playing surfaces such as greens, tees, fairways and rough.
  • Course service (pins, divot repair, minor turf repair)
  • Cultural practices
  • Construction projects where necessary
  • Irrigation repair and maintenance
  • Operate heavy equipment as required such as Bobcats, tractors, excavators.
  • Assist with training when prompted.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on a golf course, or familiarity with golf course equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work alone or as a team
  • Leadership skills and willingness to lead crews
  • Heavy equipment experience is an asset
  • Readiness to work outside in a variety of weather conditions

Work Schedule

  • Full time, 36-40 hours/week.
  • Shifts are either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday

Compensation & Benefits

  • $19 – $22/hour DOE
  • Golf privileges as well as merchandise discounts
  • Staff rate on driving range use and Golf Simulators
  • Food & beverage discounts at both restaurants (including a rate for friends & family)
