Full job description

Brampton Golf Club is seeking energetic, service-oriented individuals to join our Food & Beverage team for the remainder of the 2026 season (End of December), with opportunities to continue with the Club in future seasons.

Compensation: $17.60 per hour, plus participation in our gratuity pool

Working as part of our service team, the Food & Beverage Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience to our Members and Guests in all clubhouse dining areas. We are looking for individuals who enjoy providing outstanding hospitality, take pride in their work, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and build positive relationships with Members and Guests.
  • Prepare dining areas in accordance with Club service standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service areas throughout each shift.
  • Work closely with the floor manager/supervisor to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage menus and confidently answer questions and make recommendations.
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and attentive food and beverage service.
  • Ensure Members and Guests are satisfied with their dining experience through attentive table service and maintenance.
  • Accurately enter orders into the POS system and verify bills before presenting them.
  • Prepare basic alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Assist with banquet and event room set-up and tear-down as required.
  • Complete assigned opening, closing, and side duties.
  • Help close dining areas at the end of service.

Qualifications

  • Previous serving or hospitality experience (minimum one year preferred).
  • Smart Serve Certification (required).
  • Experience with restaurant POS systems; Jonas experience is considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
