As we continue to grow and expand our teams, we are currently seeking experienced CULINARY LEADERS to be a part of the Glowbal Restaurant Group. This leadership opportunity works closely alongside the GENERAL MANAGER in areas of personnel management, budget control, quality of service and product and operational execution.

We are seeking passionate culinary professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and understand the importance of leadership, mentorship, consistency, creativity, and exceptional guest experiences.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations including staffing, food preparation, execution, and food safe practices while ensuring financial targets are achieved
  • Develop, implement, and maintain high culinary and service standards to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction
  • Mentor, coach, and develop kitchen teams while fostering a positive and high-performing culture
  • Conduct ongoing research of culinary and industry trends to support innovative and effective menu development
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and food cost controls
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of culinary team members
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to support operational goals and business development initiatives

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar leadership role and environment
  • Foodsafe Certification required (within 1 week of employment)
  • Culinary certification, apprenticeship, Red Seal, or Journeyman certification considered an asset
  • Strong financial aptitude with experience managing P&Ls, labor, and food costs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internet research
  • Passion for hospitality, leadership, and culinary excellence
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and execute effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with sound judgment and accountability
  • Ability to lead by example while maintaining high standards of professionalism and execution
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

TO WORK FOR US: You MUST have valid proof of Social Insurance Number and be legal to work in Canada with proof as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Residence or Valid Work Permit.
