Production Worker

Job Description

This role involves working in a modern, fast-paced manufacturing environment where you support multiple production areas using various hand and power tools. You will be working in assembly and on various other general production tasks, ensuring high-quality output while following safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work in different production areas to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete production and assembly tasks.
• Read and interpret tape measures accurately to ensure precise measurements and cuts.
• Perform general labor and assembly duties, including handling materials and components as required.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds in a safe and controlled manner.
• Arrive on time, maintain dependable attendance, and be open to working overtime on weekdays and/or weekends when required.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.

Essential Skills

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read tape measures accurately and apply measurements to production tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address issues in production and assembly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Punctuality and dependability with consistent attendance.
• Good communication skills to work effectively within a team.

Work Environment

• This role is based in a brand-new, clean manufacturing shop designed to support efficient production and a safe working experience.
• All shift times available, with an emphasis on the overnight shift
• The facility is large, well-organized, and equipped for modern production work, including the use of hand and power tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $25.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
