Global Pet Foods Ajax South is hiring part-time Pet Specialists who are passionate about animal well-being and motivated to achieve sales goals. We are looking for outgoing, dependable team members who enjoy building relationships with customers, recommending products, and helping pet parents find the right solutions for their pets.

What We’re Looking For:

• Availability to work evenings and weekends is required
• A confident, friendly, and energetic personality
• A goal-oriented approach with a desire to meet sales targets
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivation and the ability to stay productive throughout each shift
• Willingness to learn about pet nutrition, products, and sales techniques
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Retail, cash-handling, or sales experience is an asset
• Pet knowledge or personal experience with animals is an asset; training will be provided

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for customers and their pets
• Ask thoughtful questions, understand customer needs, and confidently recommend appropriate products
• Build customer loyalty through strong product knowledge and relationship-based selling
• Work toward individual and store sales goals
• Participate actively in ongoing product and sales training
• Process transactions accurately and responsibly
• Open or close the store as scheduled
• Receive, verify, and put away deliveries
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing store
• Complete assigned operational tasks while remaining attentive to customers

Successful candidates should be available to begin as soon as possible.

Competitive wage based on experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Experience:

• pet: 1 year (preferred)
• sales: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
