Mad Radish is looking for an Assistant General Manager!

Mad Radish is looking for an experienced and inspirational leader for our Toronto stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume a leadership role in all aspects of managing the restaurant
  • Ensure the highest standards in food quality, consistency, and efficiency
  • Lead by example, while holding staff accountable for their performance and ensuring an excellent guest experience
  • Create and manage labour schedules per budgeted costs
  • Drive our catering business by providing exceptional customer care and ensuring flawless execution
  • Foster team morale and the engagement
  • Evaluate daily changes in production vs. sales and minimize waste
  • Manage store ordering and constantly evaluate par levels
  • Ensure the compliance with all related regulations, including Health & Safety and Food Handling. Maintain a score of 95% on internal Health & Safety audit
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of the brand, all menu offerings, and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure that all operational administrative duties are effectively completed
  • Drive financial objectives, establishing and monitoring financial controls
  • Lead by example, while holding staff accountable for their performance and ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Proven success with both people development in leadership positions and long-term sales growth
  • Previous experience with scheduling, inventory, and labour control
  • Able to multi-task and plan ahead in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Great communication style, and able to deliver feedback in the moment
  • Knowledge and proficiency in the use of computers
  • Basic to advanced analytical skills
  • Innovative problem solver not afraid to get scrappy
  • Attention to detail, cleanliness, and consistency
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as required to meet operating and project demands

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
