Terracad Geoscience Services Ltd.
Location: Arsenault Project, near Teslin, Yukon Territory
Schedule: Fly-In/Fly-Out from Teslin daily | 4 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off
Compensation: $350/day
Travel: Must be able to travel to Teslin, YT in personal vehicle. Employee will be paid half the day rate for travel days in addition to travel expenses being paid.

About the Opportunity

Terracad Geoscience Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Level III First Aider to join our team at the Arsenault Project, located near Teslin, Yukon Territory. This is an exciting opportunity to support the health and safety of personnel working on a remote mineral exploration project while earning competitive compensation in a professional and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid and emergency medical response to project personnel in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and company procedures.
  • Assess and provide appropriate treatment for workplace injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies.
  • Maintain first aid supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are fully stocked, clean, and ready for use.
  • Conduct regular inspections of first aid kits, emergency equipment, and medical supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of first aid treatments, incidents, and medical evacuations as required.
  • Coordinate emergency response and medical evacuations when necessary, including communication with helicopter, ambulance, medical facilities, and other emergency services.
  • Work closely with project management, supervisors, and field personnel to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of site emergency response procedures.
  • Provide guidance to personnel on basic first aid, emergency procedures, and workplace health and safety practices.
  • Monitor and communicate potential health and safety concerns associated with remote field operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with employee medical information.
  • Assist with diamond drilling operations as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA 3) certification recognized in Yukon/British Columbia.
  • Previous experience providing first aid in remote mineral exploration environments is preferred.
  • Valid CPR/AED certification.
  • Experience with remote emergency response and medical evacuations is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace first aid, emergency response procedures, and occupational health and safety practices.
  • Must be able to travel to Teslin, YT.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence is an asset.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergency situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical and incident records.
  • Ability to work effectively in remote camp conditions and on rotational schedules.
  • Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
