General Manager – Fix Network Restoration Calgary and Edmonton (A Division of the Luxuria Group of Companies)

We specialize in disaster restoration services, helping families and businesses recover from fire, flood, storm, and other emergencies. We are currently seeking a General Manager to oversee operations across our Calgary and Edmonton branches.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and business growth across both locations. The successful candidate will be a strategic, hands-on leader with a proven track record in insurance restoration, team development, operational leadership, and client relationship management. They will play a critical role in strengthening operations, developing leaders, and positioning the organization for continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the daily operations of the Calgary and Edmonton branches.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Project Managers and field leadership while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee restoration and reconstruction operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Monitor operational and financial performance across both branches through key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assume full accountability for branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue, expenses, profitability, job costing, accounts receivable, and overall business results.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, occupational health and safety requirements, company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance partners, adjusters, brokers, commercial clients, property managers, contractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive business development initiatives by strengthening existing partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and representing the organization professionally within the community and industry.
  • Champion an exceptional customer experience by ensuring timely communication, quality workmanship, and prompt resolution of customer concerns.
  • Review operational reports, work-in-progress, project performance, and financial data to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead branch planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and operational efficiencies to maximize productivity and service delivery.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of insurance restoration processes and industry systems, including Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and other restoration management platforms.
  • Ensure company assets, equipment, vehicles, and facilities are properly maintained, safeguarded, and utilized effectively.
  • Participate in executive leadership meetings, strategic planning initiatives, and other organizational projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned to support the continued growth and success of Fix Network Restorations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in the disaster restoration, insurance restoration, or construction industry, with experience managing branch or multi-site operations.
  • Proven success leading teams, driving operational excellence, and achieving financial and performance objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance restoration processes, including mitigation, reconstruction, and claims management.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, job costing, financial reporting, and operational KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with insurance partners, adjusters, brokers, commercial clients, and other key stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Encircle, or similar restoration management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence with the ability to travel regularly between the Calgary and Edmonton branches.
  • IICRC certifications, post-secondary education in Business, Construction Management, or a related field are considered assets.
