Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility property according to safety and predictive maintenance systems. This position will ensure high standard of workmanship and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine controls, or control media within capabilities as required to ensure quality of production.
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and safety.
  • Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times.
  • Requisition materials and supplies.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing Related Field.
  • Three to Five years of related experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience with Trumpf fabricating equipment (lasers, punches and brakes, TOP CAM system) is preferred.
  • Certifications or licences appropriate to manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to prioritize and mange conflicting demands.
  • Problem Solving and planning ability required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $31.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
