General Labourer jobs in Toronto, ON

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of construction tasks, such as framing, painting, drywall installation, taping mudding, trim installation, demo etc
• Operate power tools. Ability to operate heavy machinery (Bobcat, excavator) is a strong asset.
• Perform physical labor such as lifting, carrying, and pushing heavy objects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Work under tight deadlines and in extreme weather conditions.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Job sites are all over the GTA, a car is required.

Candidates who are not currently in Canada or don't have a work permit will not be considered.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as construction worker
• Experience in operating equipment like trench skid steers, mini excavators, pneumatic hammers etc.
• Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout etc.)
• Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods
• Able to work in a team
• Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have Car

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
