About Us:

Job Summary:

Sercon is currently seeking an experienced labourer to join our team. This role is for candidates with 3+ years of recent experience installing underground watermain, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer systems on municipal or civil construction projects.

Projects may include municipal road reconstruction, subdivision servicing, trunk mains, and related civil infrastructure throughout the GTHA.

Experience With the Following is an Asset:

  • 3+ years installing underground watermain, storm, and sanitary sewer mains
  • Recent experience on municipal / civil construction projects
  • Safe trenching, shoring, bedding, backfilling, and compaction practices

Responsibilities

  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Ability to perform physical work
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Valid driver’s licence is an asset
  • Must have own transportation to job sites or company yard
  • Work closely with foremen, supervisors, and crew members to complete projects on schedule
