Join St. Joseph’s General Hospital Elliot Lake as our Manager, Human Resources St. Joseph’s General Hospital Elliot Lake (SJGHEL) is a patient-focused, community-driven, and quality-oriented healthcare organization dedicated to providing safe, high-quality care to the communities we serve. We are committed to advancing healthcare excellence across rural Northern Ontario, strengthening interprofessional collaboration, enhancing quality and safety, and ensuring accessible, patient-centred care for all.
SJGHEL is seeking a Manager, Human Resources to join our leadership team and play a key role in shaping the employee experience across the organization! Reporting to the Director, People, Risk and Corporate Affairs, the Manager will provide subject matter expertise and support to other managers in the organization, contribute to project planning, lead the day-to-day operations of the organization’s human resources function, and effectively manage the HR team.
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field, and a current designation as a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) or Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). Equivalent post-secondary education, training and experience may be considered. The successful candidate will also have three to five years’ experience working in an HR department within a multi-union organization, preferably in a healthcare environment.
