Unlimited Staff is currently hiring an Experienced Field Appliance Service Technician for a leading company in the commercial laundry and appliance service industry.

We are looking for someone who can confidently diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair equipment in the field while providing professional customer service.

Important Requirements

Applicants must have:

• G2 Gas Fitter Licence
• Valid Ontario Full G Driver’s Licence
• Direct hands-on appliance repair experience

Experience with HVAC alone is not enough for this position. Candidates must have experience repairing appliances such as washers, dryers, commercial laundry equipment, or similar equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose, service, repair, and test commercial washers, dryers, and laundry equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, gas, and electronic issues
• Complete service calls at customer locations in a professional and efficient manner
• Repair and maintain equipment according to company standards
• Assist with installations, retrofits, overhauls, and equipment inspections
• Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical components
• Build strong customer relationships through reliable and professional service
• Manage and restock truck inventory to stay prepared for service calls
• Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and proper operation of the company vehicle
• Follow all company procedures, safety standards, and service requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of direct appliance repair experience required
• Experience repairing washers, dryers, or commercial laundry equipment is strongly preferred
• G2 Gas Fitter Certification required
• Valid Ontario Full G Driver’s Licence required
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must own basic tools
• Reliable, professional, and organized
• Ability to work overtime, on-call shifts, weekends, or travel when required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Schedule Options

• Sunday to Thursday
• Tuesday to Saturday

Overtime and on-call work may be available depending on business needs.

Service Area

This position is based in Barrie, Ontario, with service work in Barrie and surrounding areas as required.

Compensation and Benefits

• $27.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time, permanent position
