Grande Prairie Travel Stop/Petro-Canada is a 24-hour gas station and convenience store dedicated to providing essential services to travelers. Our facility includes a Petro-pass Cardlock, lounge, laundry, and shower facilities, ensuring a comfortable stop for all our customers.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team at Grande Prairie Travel Stop/Petro-Canada. Located on Hi-way 43 West, this role is vital in delivering excellent customer service while managing transactions efficiently. Your contributions will help create a welcoming environment for our customers.

Position: Cashier
Location: 11925 101 Ave
Wage: Starting at $17/hour (Depending on Experience)
Shifts: Must be willing to work morning, evening, or graveyard shifts as needed. Weekend availability is a must

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to all visitors
  • Handling cash, credit, and debit transactions
  • Selling merchandise, promoting in-store specials, and assisting with lottery and tobacco sales
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store
  • Cleaning and maintaining washrooms and showers (restocking hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels)
  • Assisting with stocking shelves and inventory
  • Emptying garbage bins inside and outside the store
  • Ensuring a smooth, efficient, and friendly operation
  • Performing other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset, but not required
