Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Gas Plant Turnaround Admin and Cost Tracking Specialist to support our operational efficiency during scheduled plant turnaround planning and execution periods. This role involves managing complex data sets, tracking costs, and providing insights to optimize turnaround activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial analysis, database management, and business intelligence tools, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Fluency in multiple software tools, along with experience working with various ERP systems and accounting software. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical shutdown projects within the energy sector, ensuring compliance and cost control throughout turnaround operations.

Duties

  • Oversee and maintain detailed cost tracking for gas plant turnaround projects using ERP systems such as Maximo, Oracle, site view, Microsoft project and office tools
  • Develop and update dashboards and reports utilizing Microsoft Excel, power Bi and Microsoft Access to visualize project data and financial metrics
  • Conduct thorough auditing of project expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines
  • Collaborate with finance teams to reconcile costs and prepare detailed analysis for management review
  • Support research initiatives related to project efficiencies, continuous improvement strategies, and industry best practices
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations using Microsoft word, Visio, and PowerPoint for stakeholder updates
  • Manage databases containing project information, ensuring data integrity and security
  • Communicate effectively across departments.
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to facilitate timely completion of turnaround activities
  • Maintain filing system and take management meeting notes.

Skills

  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong experience with ERP systems including Maximo Oracle,, Microsoft Project and site view.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and financial analysis techniques
  • Expertise in, Data visualization techniques, and database management (Microsoft excel)
  • Solid understanding of auditing processes, budgeting principles, and investment analysis within the energy or financial services sectors
  • Excellent research capabilities combined with strong analysis skills to interpret complex data sets
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and business intelligence best practices
  • Strong communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings clearly to stakeholders

This role is essential for ensuring efficient management of turnaround activities through precise cost tracking and data analysis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting operational excellence while maintaining strict financial oversight.

Pay: $520.00-$680.00 per day
