Full-Time Permanent Sales AssociateOutdoor Living Centre

Do you love cooking outdoors, firing up the barbecue, or perfecting the art of smoking? Are you also enthusiastic about lawn care, outdoor power equipment, snow removal, furniture, and décor? If so, we’d love to meet you!

We are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and motivated Sales Associate to join our Outdoor Living Centre team in a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers and can confidently recommend products that make outdoor spaces easier to maintain and more enjoyable throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and help them find products suited to their needs.
• Provide knowledgeable advice on barbecues, smokers, outdoor cooking equipment, accessories, and fuels.
• Assist customers with lawnmowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, string trimmers/weed whippers, and other outdoor power equipment.
• Help customers choose snow-removal tools and equipment, including snow blowers.
• Help customers select outdoor furniture, décor, and related products.
• Explain product features, benefits, operation, and basic maintenance.
• Assemble barbecues, smokers, outdoor furniture, and other products according to manufacturer instructions.
• Deliver purchases to customers’ vehicles and safely load the products for them.
• Build strong customer relationships through friendly, attentive service.
• Keep displays organized, attractive, clean, and well stocked.
• Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends.
• Support the team with general store duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for outdoor cooking, barbecuing, and smoking.
• Knowledge of lawn care and outdoor power equipment.
• Knowledge of snow removal, snow blowers, and related tools and equipment.
• An interest in outdoor furniture, décor, and creating inviting outdoor spaces.
• Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
• Experience assembling barbecues, smokers, furniture, or similar products is an asset.
• Comfort using basic hand tools and following assembly instructions.
• The ability to safely lift, move, and load large or bulky products, with assistance or equipment when required.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• A willingness to continue learning about our products.
• The ability to work independently and help customers make confident purchasing decisions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
