As part of a major facility expansion that will significantly increase production capacity and capabilities, the company is seeking a high-impact General Manager to help scale the business toward the next stage of growth.

Role Overview:

As the General Manager, you will be reporting to the Owner and work closely with the Operations Manager and Finance & Administration team. In this hands-on leadership role you will focus on operational coordination, purchasing execution, commercial support, organizational infrastructure, and business scalability. This role requires an individual that thrive in entrepreneurial industrial environments and can balance operational detail with big-picture thinking.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Lead weekly execution meetings, improve collaboration between office and production teams, reduce bottlenecks, and standardize best practices across departments.

· Translate growth goals into action through operational planning, prioritization, and hands‑on support during busy and high‑growth periods.

· Handle day-to-day raw material purchasing, coordinate inventory needs with operations and production schedules, and maintain clear reporting, accountability, and pricing discipline.

· Build strong supplier relationships, explore better sourcing options, and streamline purchasing systems and workflows.

· Oversee customer quotations and follow-up using standard processes, while supporting CRM and light business development activities.

· Strengthen customer relationships through visits, improve overall commercial presentation, and support trade shows, marketing coordination, and customer outreach initiatives.

· Streamline operations by organizing and standardizing documentation, supporting scalable processes and tracking systems, and managing facility and service vendors.

· Support facility operations by coordinating maintenance and contractors, assisting with planning and organization, and helping infrastructure scale with future growth.

· Provide steady operational leadership by supporting clear communication, accountability, and teamwork across office and production staff in a positive, solutions‑focused environment.

· Coordinate compliance support by organizing documentation, working with external consultants, tracking requirements, and helping implement recommendations.

Qualifications:

· 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, chemical distribution, or related industrial environments.

· 5 years previous experience in a leadership capacity.

· Strong organizational and operational coordination abilities.

· Experience managing competing priorities in fast-paced operational environments.

· Practical understanding of purchasing, operations, logistics, and customer service workflows.

· Strong communication and follow-through skills.

· A hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset.

· Strong leadership presence without excessive bureaucracy or corporate rigidity.

· Comfort working in a growing entrepreneurial company environment.
