About Nordic Holdings

Nordic Holdings is Alberta’s largest locally owned furniture retailer, operating Sofa Land and Konto Furniture locations across the province. Since 1976, we have built our reputation on exceptional customer service and professional home delivery.

We are currently looking for a reliable, customer-focused 5-Ton Furniture Delivery Driver to join our growing Distribution team in Calgary. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being active, working as part of a team, and taking pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Safely operate a 5-ton delivery truck throughout the Calgary area
  • Deliver and professionally set up furniture in customers’ homes
  • Work alongside a delivery partner to unload and install merchandise
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service during every delivery
  • Secure merchandise for safe transport
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and delivery preparation
  • Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain a clean and professional delivery vehicle
  • Represent Sofa Land in a positive manner at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating a 5-ton truck
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Ability to safely lift and move furniture on a daily basis
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Experience with furniture or appliance delivery is considered an asset

  • $24.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience
