Full job description

Responsible for the delivery of products over established routes. Responsibilities will include the correct loading of the vehicle, recording of delivery information, accepting/making payment for goods and ensuring overall vehicle safety. You will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road, and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures. Also, responsible for opening of stock, properly tagging items and assisting with floor displays. Moving items, taking out samples, assisting customers as per requested by other staff. Required to maintain tidy warehouse, move showroom, perparing deliveries and scheduling deliveries.

Key Skills, Capabilities and Experience

· Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer, delivery appe and peripherals

· Weekend work is required, must work Saturday

· High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent

· Valid Driver's License

· Clean Driver's abstract

· Clear Criminal Background Check

· Ability to lift 100 pounds or more, no limitations

· Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed

-Friendly, energetic personality, easy to work with and get along with

-Large Furniture Delivery Experience REQUIRED

Expectations

· Work 40 hours per week, must be able to work Saturday’s

· Comply with Company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

· Maintain good working relationship with other staff and management

· Deliver agreed upon Customer experience as per above

· Adhere to all health and safety regulations set out by company

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
