Job Overview

Schedule & Availability

We offer a variety of full-time and part-time shifts based on our event schedule.

Our busiest days and nights are Thursday through Monday.

• Day shifts typically start between 7:00–9:00 AM
• Night shifts typically start between 10:00 PM–12:00 AM
• Evening, overnight and weekend shifts are regularly available
• Flexible part-time scheduling is available based on operational needs

Responsibilities

• Safely drive 20'–28' / 5-ton trucks for deliveries and pickups throughout Toronto and the GTA.
• Deliver and pick up furniture and event rental products safely, accurately and on time.
• Load and unload trucks alongside the delivery team.
• Set up and place furniture according to floor plans, event requirements and client instructions.
• Properly handle, protect and secure furniture during loading, transportation, delivery and pickup.
• Provide professional and courteous service while representing Detailz at client and event locations.
• Inspect products during delivery and pickup and report any damage, missing items or operational issues.
• Assist with general warehouse, furniture preparation and loading duties when required.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario G-class driver's licence is required.
• Clean driving record – Driver's Abstract will be required.
• Previous experience driving 20'–28' trucks / 5-ton trucks is required.
• Comfortable driving throughout Toronto and the GTA.
• Ability to safely lift and handle furniture and products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Previous delivery driving, moving, event setup or customer service experience is an asset.
• Dependable, punctual and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• Must be available for the shifts agreed upon, including evenings, nights and weekends where applicable.
