Job Description:

The Operations Performance & Workforce Management (OPWFM) team is part of the Operational Excellence and Capabilities pillar in Business Banking Operations.

The Performance & Workforce Management team is responsible for colleague hiring, onboarding, training, and capability development, reporting, workforce management and performance testing supporting BB Operations.

We are committed to meeting the high expectations and complex needs of our customers, our partners across the Bank, while support our colleagues in the quest to be Better Business Bankers.

Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assess and demonstrate polished and professional delivery skills to enrich learner experience and engagement in alignment with overall Learning and Development strategy

  • Participate in and contribute to project scoping and planning, setting the standards for the learner experience that will enable learning objectives to be satisfied

  • Collaborate with business and functional partners to attain a good understanding of project, program and curriculum needs

  • Provide expertise on program and online content design and development, including recommendations for optimal effectiveness and innovation

  • Design high quality, multi-approach blended learning and performance solutions on a variety of learning projects that support business strategic priorities, enable people strategies and impact key business measures.

  • Develop media, graphics and interactive assets for innovative learning and performance solutions that strengthen employee capabilities and knowledge

  • Ensure learner accessibility and principles of diversity and inclusion in designing a variety of learning solutions, leveraging established standards and templates where possible

  • Develop reporting/scorecards/dashboards in collaboration with partners and stakeholders for own business management area to help inform or support decisions regarding training and development

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert with both practical and technical expertise in all areas of instructional design and development for all learning approaches.

  • Ensure projects and learning solutions meet quality standards and achieve success criteria while managing scope, risks and stakeholder engagement, and problem resolution

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree preferred

  • Post graduate education in Adult Learning & Development preferred

  • 4+ years related experience

  • Certification in Instructional Technology/Human Performance Technology preferred

  • Requires experienced, conceptual and practical knowledge within their own specialty and knowledge of broader related areas

  • Support moderately complex projects for particular business, either alone or in partnership with others.

  • Solid knowledge of learning and performance enablement solutions, program design, design inputs for program evaluation, learning consultation, needs analysis, learning design

  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form

  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships

  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office and Power Platforms

  • Fluent understanding of Power Platforms including backend data structure, middleware, user interface design and learner accessibility

  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
