Full job description

This role is term time, which means that the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year.

Please note that the full time equivalent for this position is 37 hours, so roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classed as part time. The gross annual salary advertised will be reduced based on the part time hours.

About the role

Could you be the person who turns every lunchtime into a positive, fun and safe experience for children?

Join the team at St John's Primary School as a Lunchtime Assistant and play an active role in helping pupils enjoy their school day. You'll supervise children in the dining hall and playground, encourage positive behaviour and good manners, support safe and inclusive play, and help create an environment where every child feels supported and valued.

Working closely with teaching staff, you'll build positive relationships with pupils, respond to day-to-day situations with confidence and care, and contribute to a school community that helps children flourish. No formal qualifications are required, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a real difference in just a few hours each week.

Take the next step and join St John's Primary School, where every lunchtime is an opportunity to inspire, support and make a difference.
