Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is prefered, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for hospitality. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while supporting the overall operations of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Touchbistro, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash and process payments accurately through cashiering systems
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support team operations
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods without compromising quality of service
• Ensure guest concerns are addressed promptly to promote guest satisfaction and repeat business

Skills

• Strong knowledge of POS systems, for order entry and payment processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing calculations
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to work in fast-paced settings within the food industry while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with guests
• Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest services and upselling techniques
