Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Desk Associateto join our team. This role is essential in supporting daily operations by managing parts sourcing, inventory, and customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and price parts for heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles and equipment
  • Maintain and manage inventory, including ordering, tracking shipments, and handling returns
  • Create new work orders for the shop and review completed work orders for accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with the shop manager and supervisor to ensure smooth workflow
  • Use QuickBooks for tracking, estimates, and billing
  • Provide excellent customer service, including handling phone calls and inquiries
  • Coordinate pickup, delivery, and return of parts and supplies
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience in parts sourcing or a related field (automotive/heavy equipment preferred)
  • Knowledge of parts and the industry is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting/inventory software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must have transportation to office/shop as not located on bus route
