Full job description

Great teeth, better team.

We're a busy, well-established dental practice in the heart of Cambridge — serving this community for over 25 years with multiple dentists, specialists, and a growing patient base. We're hiring a Dental Administrator / Hygiene Coordinator: the person who owns our hygiene schedule and becomes the friendly constant our patients see every visit.

The role in one sentence: You keep our hygiene chairs full, our front end organized, and our patients genuinely happy to come back.

What you'll own

  • The hygiene schedule — recare bookings, reactivation calls, gap recovery
  • Patient experience at the front — greeting, check-in, check-out, follow-up
  • Insurance claims, estimates, and pre-determinations
  • Presenting treatment and financial options clearly — no pressure, no scripts
  • Keeping the day flowing so the clinical team can do dentistry

What we're looking for

  • Warm, sharp, and calm when the phones and the door are busy at the same time
  • Strong customer service instincts and real attention to detail
  • Dental office experience and Tracker knowledge are strong assets — but if you're exceptional with people and coachable, we will train you. Attitude beats years served.
  • Comfortable talking about treatment and finances without flinching

What you get

  • $27–$35/hr, commensurate with experience
  • Dental care
  • Free on-site parking + transit accessible
  • Mentorship from experienced dental professionals across multiple specialties
  • Career advancement in a growing, multi-doctor practice
  • A positive, no-drama team with real standards and real fun

The schedule

Our operational hours currently are Mondays - Sundays . You must be willing to work a 5-day work week to include evening hours and weekend availability.

How to apply

Send your resume with 2–3 sentences on why you're great with people. Applications without the note won't be reviewed — this desk runs on details.
