Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Take orders from customers, process payments using the POS system, and manage cash handling accurately.
  • Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with local laws.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions about drink selections, and making recommendations.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
  • Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service for all customers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong math skills for managing transactions and providing accurate change.
  • Familiarity with cashiering practices and POS systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
