Full job description

Looking for a candidate that is both a finish dozer operator and excavator operator. Must be confident and execute with a high level of safety. As a Heavy Equipment Operator/laborer, your duties may include the following:

- Operating heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, tracked carriers, etc. in steep mountainous terrain.

- Completion of daily inspections, cleaning, lubricating, small repairs (general maintenance), and refueling of equipment.

  • Excavator Operator: grubbing, clearing, general excavating, trenching, building equipment pads, cutting for access, dig pole holes and install corrugated steel pipes.
  • Bulldozer Operator: Building of access trails crane pads, snow clearing, winching.
  • Skid Steer: Augering, material handling, snow removal, site leveling, spoil removal.
  • Tracked Carriers: Material hauling
  • Labour: general labor, load securement, basic rigging, driving of company vehicles. Ensuring secure and clean site at the end of the day.

Requirements:

- Must possess a drivers license with clean drivers abstract

- 15+ Year’s experience Minimum

- Commercial excavation experience mandatory

- Capacity to follow and provide instruction

- Demonstrate a safe work manner, follow safety regulations, company rules, and policies.

- Be respectful, reliable, cooperative in a team environment.

- Flexible schedule with the ability to work extended hours and out of town as needed (75% +).
