Production & Cross-Department Coordination
- Work closely with production teams to ensure timely allocation of materials for dyeing, assembly, and packaging.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and shipping departments to ensure finished goods inventory aligns with customer orders and fulfillment timelines.
- Communicate low stock levels, backorders, and material shortages to management and purchasing.
Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the company’s ERP/inventory management system.
- Generate regular inventory reports for management (stock levels, turnover, variances, aging inventory).
- Analyze inventory trends and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in forecasting and planning for seasonal demand fluctuations.
- Process Improvement & Compliance
- Develop and refine inventory procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and warehouse best practices.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces in accordance with operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems required; experience with Excel for reporting and analysis preferred.
- Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move boxes and materials throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in an environment with dried flowers, natural botanicals, dust, heat (from production processes), and varying warehouse conditions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
