Graphic Designer – Packaging & Digital Eco Guardian Inc. · Aurora, ON · On-site Full-Time, Permanent | Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

About Eco Guardian Eco Guardian Inc. is a certified compostable foodservice packaging manufacturer based in Aurora, Ontario. Our mission is to deliver sustainable, certified compostable packaging that helps our customers reduce their environmental footprint — without compromising on quality or performance.

Purpose of the Role The Graphic Designer – Packaging & Digital is the creative engine that takes Eco Guardian's established brand system and applies it, consistently and at volume, everywhere our brand appears: product packaging and print, our website and online stores, social media, and the presentations that win business. Strategy is set by the Marketing Director and new structural packaging concepts sit with our brand partner — this role brings both to life across a large and growing product range. Its value to Eco Guardian is speed, consistency, and quality: making sure every customer, retailer, and prospect experiences a polished, on-brand Eco Guardian.

What You'll Do

Brand & graphic design — Apply our brand system to packaging and label graphics across a large SKU count; design catalogues, sales collateral, tradeshow and pitch materials, and internal newsletters.

Print production & prepress — Manage cup/bowl artwork from intake through to printing-plate production using our cutting dielines; review proofs and plate layouts, incorporate colour separations and Pantone ink builds, and maintain accurate SKU specifications (substrate, print method, dieline version, colour build). Flag artwork changes that carry tooling, plate, or minimum-order cost implications before they're committed.

Digital, web & e-commerce— Keep the company website current and on-brand; create and manage Amazon and online-store content, including main-image compliance, A+ content modules, and infographic-style listing images; keep marketplace imagery aligned with packaging artwork as the rebrand rolls out.

Social & presentations— Produce and adapt social content at pace, sized for each platform; build and maintain on-brand PowerPoint templates and decks the sales team and executives can rely on.

File & asset management— Own the design asset library, naming conventions, and version control so Sales, Manufacturing, and our agency partners always work from the correct, current file.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of creative/graphic design experience in a corporate environment
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills, especially Illustrator and InDesign, plus Photoshop for product and lifestyle imagery
  • Packaging or label design experience, including familiarity with print substrates and methods
  • Demonstrated file and version-control discipline across a large SKU count
  • Amazon / e-commerce image experience (main-image compliance, A+ content, infographic listings)
  • Ability to produce social and presentation assets at pace
  • A strong eye for brand consistency and the ability to apply an established brand system
