About the Role

We're seeking a creative, strategy-driven Social Media Manager & Content Creator to build and lead our professional lash and brow supply brand presence across digital platforms. This role combines social media strategy with hands-on content production, community engagement, and professional influencer partnerships to drive sales, brand authority, and industry presence.

You'll own the complete content lifecycle: strategy development, content creation, platform management, community engagement, and performance analysis. Your work will educate professionals, showcase product transformations, and position our brand as the trusted choice for lash artists and brow technicians.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Content Planning

  • Develop and execute a strategic content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, with emphasis on transformation content, educational tutorials, and industry trends
  • Identify trending formats specific to the beauty professional niche (lash lift techniques, brow lamination tutorials, product demonstrations)
  • Research lash and brow industry trends (Korean lash lifts, anime lashes, diffused brows, growth serums) and incorporate into content strategy
  • Create platform-specific content optimized for each channel's algorithm and audience behavior

Content Production & Community Building

  • Produce high-quality before-and-after transformation content showcasing products on professional artists and everyday clients
  • Film and edit educational content: lash application techniques, aftercare tips, color selection guides, brow shaping methods
  • Manage behind-the-scenes content: product development, brand stories, team highlights
  • Develop and nurture a professional community of lash artists and brow technicians through authentic engagement
  • Partner with lash and brow professionals for user-generated content campaigns and micro-influencer collaborations
  • Coordinate product seeding programs with industry professionals to generate organic testimonials

Platform Management & Engagement

  • Monitor comments, DMs, and community interactions across all platforms; respond promptly to maintain engagement and brand credibility
  • Identify and engage with lash and brow professional communities, hashtags, and trending conversations
  • Build relationships with industry influencers, beauty educators, and professional beauty communities
  • Adapt content strategy based on platform-specific performance and audience feedback

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track and report on platform-specific KPIs: engagement rate, reach, follower growth, click-through rates, conversion metrics
  • Analyze which content types drive product interest and sales (transformation videos, technique tutorials, product comparisons)
  • Translate insights into actionable optimizations for both content and strategy
  • Measure influencer and partnership ROI to inform future collaborations

Brand Asset Management

  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries with consistent naming conventions and folder structures
  • Create and manage brand guidelines for professional aesthetics and messaging
  • Develop content templates that maintain brand consistency across platforms

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, beauty industry content creation, or multimedia production
  • Proven ability to grow and engage audiences across Instagram and at least one additional platform (TikTok strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in video filming, editing, and content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with professional beauty terminology and trends (lash extensions, brow treatments, application techniques)
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite) and analytics platforms
  • Strong understanding of TikTok algorithm and short-form video content best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical product features for broader audiences

Preferred:

  • Background working with professional beauty brands, lash supply companies, or brow product lines
  • Experience managing B2B social media communities or professional networks
  • Portfolio demonstrating transformation or before-and-after content for beauty/wellness brands
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and professional partnership development
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and ability to track social-to-sales conversions
  • Experience creating educational content around beauty techniques or professional services
