Videographer / Content Creator (On-Site Construction Project)

We are looking for a motivated Videographer / Content Creator to join our team on a major project in Halifax. This is an exciting opportunity to build your portfolio while capturing a large industrial construction project from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video and photography of daily site activities.
• Film construction progress, equipment, crews, and completed work.
• Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
• Produce project recap videos and progress updates.
• Interview team members and document project milestones.
• Edit videos into professional marketing and promotional content.
• Organize and maintain all project media files.
• Work closely with project management and the marketing team.
• Operate cameras, drones (if licensed), gimbals, microphones, and lighting equipment safely.
• Follow all site safety requirements and PPE policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with videography and photography.
• Experience editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Strong eye for storytelling, composition, and branding.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working on active industrial construction sites.
• Reliable transportation to the Halifax project site.
• Drone certification is considered an asset but is not required.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms is an asset.

We are looking for someone who is creative, reliable, energetic, and excited to capture one of Halifax’s largest industrial projects from beginning to completion.

Pay: $17.50-$22.00 per hour

• Can you commit to this 4 month contract at 40-50 hours a week every week? Also help with editing?
• This role involves working directly with raw 4K footage in a cloud-based workflow, which requires a highly stable and fast internet connection.
