Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Landscaping Labourer and play a vital role in creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in various environments, contributing to landscape projects, maintenance, and seasonal tasks. Whether you're passionate about gardening, construction, or plant care, this role provides a hands-on experience that keeps you active and engaged. Responsibilities

  • Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers using hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf.
  • Support landscape maintenance tasks like pruning, tree trimming, and shrub shaping to promote plant health.
  • Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures.
  • Conduct general site cleanup and prepare work areas for ongoing projects or seasonal changes.
  • Follow safety protocols during all activities and report any hazards or equipment issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping.
  • Experience with lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and irrigation systems is advantageous.
  • Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
