Full job description

We are looking to add to the team a CNC Machine Operator to load blank parts into the machine, make offsets, change inserts as needed, and run production on our CNC lathes. Pay increases will be considered if you can perform setups, or after you learn setups.

Responsibilities include:

  • Production operation of our CNC lathes
  • Read/interpret blueprints, and various symbols regarding surface finishes & tolerances for both cutting and machining tasks
  • Accurately use measuring tools (calipers, length gages, tape measures) to confirm parts meet customer specifications
  • Perform basic math to determine material dimensions and requirements
  • Perform routine maintenance/PM to keep machines running optimally
  • Adjusting G and M codes, speeds/feeds and other lines of code within a program as needed
  • Communicate with Management to meet production needs and meet customer deadlines
  • Following all safety protocols and keeping an organized and clean work area to maintain an efficient and safe work environment is a must
  • Keep a positive and working relationship with co-workers is a must

  • Interpersonal skills ( including working effectively with co-workers and Management)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and cross training.

  • Day shift: 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday
  • Afternoon Shift: 2pm - 11pm, Monday to Friday

*Looking Primarily for Afternoon Shift Operator*

**With optional overtime when needed throughout the week and on Saturday’s.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 41.5 per week

Wage: $27 to start. Depending on experience, a higher wage may be considered to start.
