Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
  • Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation.
