We're looking for a friendly, organized, and proactive Medical Office Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing boutique clinic. As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play an essential role in creating a welcoming, professional, and seamless experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

What You'll Do

You'll be a key member of our administrative team, helping ensure the clinic runs efficiently while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcome clients with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client inquiries
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments for practitioners and clients
  • Maintain accurate patient records using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Assist with client registration, intake, and documentation
  • Coordinate daily clinic operations and administrative workflows
  • Monitor and order medical and office supplies
  • Support physicians and the operations team with administrative tasks
  • Assist with additional clinic projects and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • Post-secondary education in Medical Office Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with any of the following is considered an asset:

  • Accuro EMR
  • QuickBooks
  • Venipuncture
