We’re a group of veterinary dermatology specialists and we’re looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our growing team at our St. Albert location.

Your Role at a Glance
As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience from start to finish. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a warm, welcoming environment for both clients and their pets — your friendly demeanor sets the tone for every visit.
  • Handling incoming calls with professionalism and care, providing accurate information and support.
  • Managing email correspondence, including responding to client questions and coordinating with referring veterinary clinics.
  • Scheduling, confirming, and tracking appointments, while ensuring the doctors' schedules remain organized and efficient.
  • Maintaining accurate client and patient records using our practice management software — attention to detail is a must.
  • Processing payments and managing the cash register, ensuring every transaction is handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Prioritizing multiple tasks throughout the day while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us and bring their best every day. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Veterinary Office Assistant, Veterinary Medical Assistant, or Medical Office Assistant certificate preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a veterinary or medical reception role.
  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Cornerstone software is preferred for keeping records organized and efficient.
