Full job description

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

Regular administrative duties: opening patient charts and entering patient information into EMR, answering phone and text messages, receiving and responding to emails, preparing and faxing patient referrals, greeting clients on site and by phone, booking and rescheduling appointments, stocking medical exam rooms, maintaining a tidy and sanitary patient waiting room.

Other duties: Collecting patient vitals (blood pressure, weight). MSP billings. Laundry. Stocking office and medical supplies and keeping inventory.

This is a fast paced, high volume maternity care office. You need to learn fast, take initiative, work independently AND collaboratively within a team based environment.

MUST be fluent with at least one EMR software platform.

Experience with Accuro and/or MedAccess is an asset.

  • Team communication: establish rapport and work effectively with team members, contribute to team success and efficiency through active listening, critical thinking, and collaborative problem solving.

  • Empathy and compassion: as the first point of contact for patients, you offer a warm and reassuring demeanour.
  • Comfort with conflict de-escalation: you remain calm, objective, and level-headed when handling frustrated patients or unexpected scheduling delays.
