Seeking a part-time opportunity with the potential to transition into a full-time role in the near future.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where clinical skills and patient interaction are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary.
  • Manage patient records accurately within the dental management software.
  • Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures to ensure clear communication.
  • Assist in the fabrication of dental appliances and models as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in dental assisting.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Certification or training in dental assisting is required; additional experience in dental receptionist duties is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children.
  • Knowledge of sterilization protocols and infection control standards in a clinical setting. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about providing high-quality dental care and eager to grow their clinical expertise within a supportive team environment.

Pay: $20.52-$34.43 per hour
