Overview

We are seeking a passionate and talented Makeup Artist to join our dynamic team! In this vibrant role, you will bring creativity, expertise, and enthusiasm to help clients look and feel their best. Your artistry will enhance special occasions, photoshoots, and everyday beauty routines, creating memorable experiences for every individual. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a lively environment where beauty and self-expression take center stage.

Duties

  • Perform professional makeup applications tailored to each client’s preferences, occasion, and facial features
  • Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable makeup styles and products
  • Assist clients in selecting makeup products through engaging product demos and upselling techniques
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools are sanitized according to health standards
  • Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments with accuracy
  • Conduct retail sales by promoting makeup products, skincare items, and accessories effectively
  • Support merchandising efforts by displaying products attractively and restocking shelves as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in makeup application for diverse skin tones and styles
  • Strong communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Knowledge of retail sales, cashiering, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Ability to perform product demos confidently while explaining features and benefits clearly
  • Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
  • Demonstrated talent in makeup artistry combined with a passion for beauty trends and techniques
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as required
