Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, ensure patient comfort, and promote a safe and respectful environment for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, or individuals requiring hospice or dementia care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others through attentive caregiving and support.

Duties

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
  • Support patients with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed to ensure proper nutrition
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe living space
  • Monitor patients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
  • Assist with transferring and heavy lifting to ensure safety for both clients and staff
  • Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques
  • Aid in hospice care by providing comfort measures and respecting patient dignity
  • Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a healthy environment

Skills

  • Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments preferred
  • Strong patient care skills with a focus on senior care and working with individuals with disabilities
