  • Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, pricing, recalls, credits, and rebates.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and communicate with the bookkeeper regarding payroll and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with PHIPA, Ontario College of Optometrists standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Handle escalated patient concerns professionally and compassionately.
  • Support EMR systems, technology, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership on business growth and operational initiatives.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in an optometry clinic, healthcare management, or medical practice management.
  • Strong leadership and people-management experience.
  • Experience with staff scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare privacy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with EMR/practice management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to lead a busy, multi-department healthcare environment.

What We Offer

  • $28.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience.
  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Extended health and dental care.
  • Vision care.
