We are currently hiring immediately for experienced Local Class 1 Drivers to join our growing Edmonton team.

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused, and professional Local Class 1 Driver to operate within the Edmonton area. If you are an experienced driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service, and being part of a strong team, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles within the Edmonton area.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Pick up and deliver freight safely and on time.
  • Secure cargo and ensure all loads meet safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
  • Follow all provincial and federal transportation regulations.
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and safety-focused work environment.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence.
  • Minimum 2 years of verified Class 1 driving experience.
  • Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract.
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta transportation regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CP Rail and CN Rail experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with container, drayage, or intermodal operations is considered an asset.
