Shipping & Logistics Coordinator

We work with some of Canada’s top craft growers and distribute products to provincial boards, wholesale partners, and direct delivery customers across the country.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team in Agassiz, BC.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in ensuring shipments are executed accurately and on time.

Position Summary

The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing outbound shipment administration for provincial boards, direct delivery customers, and wholesale partners.

This role ensures purchase orders, shipping documentation, ASN submissions, transportation bookings, inventory records, and shipment tracking are completed accurately and on schedule. The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse, production, sales, finance, and operations teams to support the efficient movement of products across Canada.

Responsibilities

Provincial Order & Shipping Coordination

* Review and verify provincial purchase orders for accuracy, including SKU information, units per case, and product gram totals.

* Coordinate weekly shipment schedules with warehouse staff.

* Book transportation and coordinate carrier pickups.

* Confirm shipment schedules and delivery appointments with provincial boards and freight carriers.

* Ensure all shipments meet provincial requirements and deadlines.

Shipping Documentation

* Prepare and organize:

* Bills of Lading (BOL)

* Manifests

* Purchase Orders

* Pallet Lists

* Prepare shipping document packages for drivers, carriers, and internal records.

* Print and apply pallet labels and mixed SKU identification labels.

* Maintain shipping records and documentation archives.

ASN & Provincial Administration

* Complete and submit Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN).

* Ensure compliance with province-specific shipping requirements.

* Coordinate freight approvals and bill-back shipments.

* Distribute shipping documentation to internal and external stakeholders.

Direct Delivery Order Processing

* Process direct delivery and paid customer orders.

* Create manifests, invoices, and shipping paperwork.

* Verify shipment quantities, grams, box counts, and shipping dates before release.

* Coordinate shipment tracking updates and customer notifications.

* Maintain inventory tracking spreadsheets and shipping records.

* Archive proof of delivery documentation.

Inventory & Administrative Support

* Assist with inventory reconciliation and shipment verification activities.

* Maintain shipping logs and performance tracking reports.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and shipping operations.

Qualifications

Required

* Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse administration, inventory coordination, supply chain, or a related field.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Preferred

* Experience using ERP systems, preferably Elevated Signals.

* Experience with freight carriers, transportation scheduling, and shipping documentation.

* Experience with ASN submissions.

* Cannabis industry experience is an asset but not required.
